He is also entering his second season as a Varsity Assistant Football Coach where he coaches the offensive line. A dedicated coach and mentor, Coach Dreher is passionate about developing young athletes both on and off the field, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, character and a strong work ethic. His goal is to help build confidence, grow as teammates, and develop the fundamentals needed for long-term success in football and in life. Coach Dreher has proudly called Folsom home since 2010, where he lives with his wife, Amy, and their sons, Talon and Jaxon. He is honored to be part of the Junior Eagles family and looks forward to continuing to help shape the next generation of Eagle football players.
Midget - Erik Ahola
Coach Ahola is entering his 4th season as a coach with the Vista Junior Eagles football program and has coached youth sports for over 12 years. When not coaching he can be found smoking over 20 pounds of pork to make pulled pork sandwiches for Vista's home football games on Friday nights to help make our concessions as profitable as possible. His son Joseph just graduated from Vista Del Lago High School, was a team captain for football and will be playing at Sierra College this fall. His other son Nicholas will be entering his 3rd season with the VJE's. Coach Ahola loves Vista Del Lago and our Folsom community and wants to help mold our kids into fine young men on and off the field and for them to be positive influences on others. Coach Ahola holds a BA in History from California State University, Sacramento.
Jr. Midget - Richard Anglesey
Coach Anglesey has more than 10 years of youth sports coaching experience, including six years with VJE Football. He previously served as VJE’s Vice President of Football and remains committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.
A proud VJE parent, Coach Anglesey has an 8th-grade cheerleader in the program. Professionally, he has served as a law enforcement officer for 17 years, bringing leadership, dedication, and a strong commitment to serving others.
Jr. Pee Wee - Chris Nault
Coach Nault is a full-time father and part-time entrepreneur. He played tackle football from the age of eight through high school and into college, where he decided to transition his passion for the game into coaching. After college, Chris coached at the Jr. Midget and Midget levels. After a long break, he is excited to return and help young athletes learn the game.
